As a former corrections officer I have seen some horrible things, enough to fill a book. And I did. For the most part though, those aren't the kind of stories that I choose to tell. I believe in true love and I believe in the Happily Ever After with the capital letters. I believe in unicorns, dragons and fairies. *You must clap while you say it.*

Further, I believe in Prince Charming because I married him and he works two jobs to keep his princess in her tower with her laptop. Reformed rakes do make the very best husbands!

I choose to write about love conquering all, the candle that burns in the dark and souls finding their way home to one another. I write romance. It may be hot, it may be dirty, but it always leads down the primrose path to a forever kind of love. Sure, it's usually bumpy and it would be no fun if it wasn't. I beat my characters black and blue, but you can't know true joy until you've been on the other side of the spectrum.

I hope you laugh with them, cry with them, and if one gets kicked in the taco, I hope you feel it too. It means I've done my job. That's my favorite part about writing is hearing from a reader that I reached through the page and touched them. From a butterfly kiss to a junk punch, that's my nirvana.

I'm a social creature and I only bite if you try and steal my pail while we're building sandcastles. Or you say "conversate", then I bite repeatedly and try to take an appendage off to beat you with. Unless it's a throat hug day. "Anyways" registers on that red-button psychosis list too, but don't get me started.
